Job Purpose:
The Production Planning Specialist is responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to meet demand, analyzing production data, developing production plans, collaborating with other departments, and monitoring performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
Job Duties:
1. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet department requirements and optimize resource utilization.
2. Analyze production data, inventory levels, and capacity constraints, to determine optimal production levels and ensure on-time delivery.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure availability of materials to support production schedules.
4. Continuously improve production planning processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and implementing best practices.
5. Generate reports and provide regular updates to management on production plans, progress, and performance.
 
Required Candidates’ Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning & scheduling.
Desired Candidates’ Specifications
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze production data.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in production planning activities.

Responsibilities:
