The "Job Partnerships and SME Promotion Project" (JP-SME) is looking to hire a "Junior Communications and M&E Advisor" starting the 1st of March 2022.
Job Description:
1- carrying out communication tasks of the project, including developing a national communication & visibility strategy (based on the overall Communications Plan) in coordination with the Special Initiative for Training and Job Creation (SI Jobs) Global Programme, developing and/or using existing communication material, drafting reports, writing press releases and conducting PR activities in alignment with the project’s visual identity.
2- monitoring and documenting the project’s activities on a regular basis.
3- achieving all M&E and communications activities related to the implementation of the project’s measures.
4- carrying out the organization of the project’s meetings, workshops, and events in coordination with the project’s technical advisors.
5- creating partnerships with GIZ communications team and external media partners geared toward the publications of the project’s events and activities.
6- publicizing the project and its events in different media channels in collaboration with the GIZ Country Office and the SI Jobs Global Programme.
7- developing and maintaining a knowledge management system for the project.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience (including internships) in communication, media related work, marketing or PR.
- Initial experience (internship or similar) in monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
- Previous experience in/with working in public or international development cooperation institutions is an asset.
