As-salam International Hospital is currently hiring Infection Control Specialist.
Job Summary;
- Implements departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
- Develop infection control policies and procedures and work instructions throughout the hospital that ensures compliance with JCI standards, MOH, and national guidelines.
- Daily rounds for auditing infection control practices throughout the hospital and documenting observations related to the causes of infection and or infection trends.
- Conduct effective surveillance with timely feedback to clinical services and generation of monthly statistical reports.
- Following up infection control link nurses for implementation of surveillance program.
- Investigates infection control problems and arranges follow-up care of patients exposed to infectious disease.
- Assists in preparing reports and statistical data for infection control committee and other committees as needed.
- Participation in different hospital committees as delegated by the team leader.
Education and Requirements :
- Bachelor degree in (Medicine and surgery, Pharmacy) with post graduated diploma in infection control. "MUST"
- Experience: 3 years of Infection Control experience in Hospitals.
- Certification: Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
