EFS is seeking applications for the position of Senior Procurement specialist

· Work with the Head of the department to implement an effective procurement plan for the whole of the department while liaising with the various other department heads to make sure all requirements are met. Monitor implementation and compliance to ensure consistent application.
· Drive savings and efficiencies through the monitoring of policies, plans and procedures. Negotiate contracts, for implementation across the business, to achieve best terms and pricing. Increase the number of new suppliers to the EFS database.
· Build long-term relationships with new and existing suppliers and service providers to ensure good service.
· Work closely with relevant departments to ensure consistency and adherence within all business units to all procurement policies and arrangements.
· Monitor local purchase orders (LPOs) for compliance and to identify opportunities for common savings / suppliers.
· Monitor EFS stores in your OPCO, making sure they are providing a good service for the operations team, have all the required stock and are maintained properly.
·Ensure all the EFS stores are stocked at all times with the required materials. Resolve supply issues with key service providers and suppliers.
· Regularly consult with the Senior Managers on procurement and warehousing issues and developments.
· Work closely with the commercial department to ensure compliant and effective contract development and to liaise on contractual issues.
· Work with suppliers and contractors to advise and negotiate.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Minimum Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, business administration, commercial or relevant
