A leading company providing complete architectural solutions requires the following:
Position: Senior Purchase Officer
Division: Sanitary

Qualifications & Competencies:
• Engineering degree
• CPIM or relevant certificate
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position within a reputable organization
• Experience in the same industry (sanitary) is necessary
• Should be very well versed with MS Office and ERP system
• Should possess good communication skills, time management, and decision making skills
• Good command of English language, Arabic language is a plus
• Previous GCC experience is preferable
• Flexibility in working and coping with people' s diversity
• Nationality : Egyptian / Any
Responsibilities:
1. Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders
2. Ensures that all purchasing is in compliance with regulations and laws related to purchasing practices
3. Prepares technical specifications for request for proposals, including terms and conditions and evaluation criteria
4. Develops and updates department procedures
5. Analyzes current procurement activities and recommends improvement through more efficient procurement methods, quantity discounts, standardization, value analysis and cooperative purchasing
6. Seeks information regarding a variety of commodities
7. Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price
8. Obtains recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department
9. Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers
10. Coordinates & negotiates with suppliers in all purchasing processes
11. Coordinates with other departments (accounting, technical, estimation..)
12. Provides materials TDS whenever needed
13. Assist in preparing MIS reports related to purchase & all documentation process
