About the Job:
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
- Establishes, maintains, and coordinates the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
- Explains billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
- Maintains general ledger accounts by reviewing accounts payable's invoices and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations prepaid, and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
- Developing inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances
-Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Peachtree knowledge is must.
