A. Introduction:
Job Title: IT Coordinator
Division: IT
Reporting to: Head of IT
B. Job Scope:
The IT coordinator will focus on specific computer network, database, or systems administration. He/she will install, configure, service, monitor, repair and maintain information technology systems in both a stand-alone and client-server environment. The IT coordinator will also participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the organization and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems are fully operational.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use
Manage daily operations of the IT department
Create, analyze, report, convert, or transfer data, using specialized applications program software
Provide for the implementation, configuration, deployment and support of systems, including, but not limited to client computing devices and servers
Provide training to new employees and other training sessions as required
C. Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or in any relevant field
Work Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in similar function
IT Skills:
Proficiency in MS-Office
Technical Understanding
Process Improvement
Data Processing and Reporting Research Results
Networking Knowledge
Presenting Technical Information
Operating Systems
Language Skills:
Excellent command of written and spoken English and French
