Design Engineer

Job description:
1- Responsible for development of electrical and mechanical design concepts, schematics, technical drawings, etc…
2- Responsible for creation of all technical simulations such as PVSYST,
Solidworks, inventor, CAD, etc….
3- Create bills of quantities for the sales department regarding each project
4- File, organize and index all projects’ technical details in a standard and orderly manner
5- Creation of new technical approaches and standards to all tackled problems and challenges to minimize time of design for future projects
6- Represent the company during technical arguments with projects’
stakeholders
7- Responsible for all design aspects’ technical due diligence for projects’
stakeholders
8- Align with the sales department on the priority schedule and deadlines of proposals
9- Prepare a list of possible scenarios for each project to be sent to the sales department while including the best choice from design office’s perspective
10- Align with application department on which is the overall design and its runner up to send to sales for final choice decision
