Overview Of the Role:
In this role, you will be required to market product categories effectively, discuss strategies with management, brief market research companies, update internal reports, perform regular retail checks, and drive sales through different planogram strategies.
Key Accountabilities:
• Write down the monthly plan canvas clearly for customer business development to ensure flawless execution in the trade.
• Allocate budgets and special packs promotions to all branches and trade channels and communicate it to customer business development accordingly.
• Communicate sales direction from head office to field unit managers about start / stop selling of certain items to ensure customer business development will only order available items and accordingly ensures better customer service.
• Upload all offers on the IT system to make it available for customer business development.
• Manage reserve budgets about promotions and offers based on CBD needs and with approval from customer business development services manager.
• Issue the monthly Initiative Checklist and send it to all principals to follow up on all offer/plan required documents for implementation.
• Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability meets demand.
• Create forecasts for product demand to ensure sustainability of inventory.
Requirements and Competencies:
• BSc degree in Marketing, Business or any relevant field
• English language proficiency.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge and skills are imperative.
• Hands-on experience with ERP software (SAP is preferable)
• minimum 3 years' experience in retail and marketing.
• Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
• Ability to think from a consumer perspective and understand buying behavior.
• Analytical, creative, and goal-driven thinking.
• Possess great negotiation and interpersonal skills.
