Legal Manager at ERRADA


Egyptian Regulatory Reform and Development Activity (ERRADA), is a government initiative that affiliated to the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and launched in 2008 to build a regulatory management system for business-related regulations. ERRADA has developed the required institutions, tools, and processes to enable it to inventory and review existing business-related regulations.
In light of the above we’re looking for Legal Manager to join ERRADA:

Duties and Responsibilities: 
-Formulate with the Head of the Legal Division the strategy and workplan of the Division in line with the overall ERRADA strategy.
-Oversee, ensure the well establishment and functioning of a user friendly, intelligent legal database in coordination with the legal and information technology staff.
-Provide legal research, studies, and recommendations on legal pieces as assigned by the Head of the Legal Department.
-Contribute to drafting policy papers.
-Communicate with business community and stakeholders for discussing the legal implications of the different business regulations and laws.
-Provide support to other relevant Division in the interpretation and application of legal information to support the development of ERRADA reports for different topics.
-Take part in the task force assigned to working with development partners on legal matters.
-Translate legal documents from English to Arabic and vice versa.
-Oversee and coordinate the work of Legal Team Leaders and liaise with the Head of the Legal Division and the Executive Director.
-Carry out other duties as assigned by the Head of the Legal Division and the Executive Director.

Qualifications:
-Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Law analysis and research areas.
-Minimum 7 years of experience in implementing researches, developing reports and policy papers. 
-Experience in a leading position is a must.
-Proven experience in presenting and communicating results.
-Proven experience in developing and communication material on legal subject matters.
-Previous experience in working with public organizations is an asset.
