We are looking for a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the design and evaluation of civil works for PV power plants and Water desalination plants (with some cross-regional functions within the Karmsolar Group platform) for new development projects.
• Focus on optimal design (max slopes, max cut depth, cut fill balance, etc.) across technical and economic criteria, working closely with business development, investment, and project management teams.
• Design of drainage systems according to experience, international and specific local criteria.
• Coordination of geotechnical testing (boring, sounding, seismic, pull out tests, etc.) with external suppliers, internal team members (PV Design, Project Management, Business Development), and integration of test results with civil and PV design.
• Structure design for complex buildings.
• Creation of important project documentation: Issued for Quotation drawings and quantities, Issued for Subcontractor Drawings and Quantities, Issued for Construction Drawings and Quantities.
• Creation of construction process and methodology documentation.
• Implementation of best practices for design and tools for project engineering and management.
• Negotiation with contractors and suppliers to achieve the best in market prices.
• External engineering support management – 3D civil engineering, coordinating site design with plant design, local permitting requirements.
• Work closely with the investment team in securing new development projects and project financing for PV projects.

Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in relevant roles.
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP, and Primavera/Microsoft Project.
• Advanced skills in communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship building in business context.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Ability to work as a part of a high-performing professional team, delegate tasks to others, and manage their completion of assigned work.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in relevant roles.
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP, and Primavera/Microsoft Project.
