Scope of work:
Experience in financing / credit underwriting (2 years +)
Credit Underwriter is responsible for assessing the risk of credit applications received from loan officers and sales representatives, as well as for decision-making within the approved limits of competence.

Credit Underwriter is responsible for assessing the risk of credit applications received from loan officers and sales representatives, as well as for decision-making within the approved limits of competence.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
Credit underwriters review and evaluate credit applications submitted by LO/Sales representatives to identify potential risks of the borrower
Conduct a detailed study of financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss) and other business documents to verify the creditworthiness of the customer
Generate and analyze all necessary reports (I-score, Fawry Score, turnover with FAWRY) to check the customer`s credit history and business performance
Verify the information from the application form by a phone call to the potential customer or via field visits to the customer’s business premises
Ensure compliance with credit risk policies, standards, procedures, and other internal regulations in lending operations and decisions are taken
Prepare credit risk classifications and credit risk opinion in relation to the requested credit exposures.
