Innovatech Group is hiring a Field Maintenance Manager for Fiber Backbone project.
About the Job:
•The Field Maintenance Manager is responsible on all the daily Activities in the field (technically and financially) on the Telecom Nodes (DWDM, SDH ,…) and on the OSP (Outside plant of Fiber backbone cables) in the Area of Greater Cairo for Etisalat Network.
•He is Interfacing the customer's Field Area Manager on Daily basis
•He will manage a team of 7 Engineers/Technicians in addition to the subco. Teams (who do the civil and fiber splicing activities on the ground)
•Must have a strong customer focus skill and Strong communication skills with Contractor and internal management team.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible on Preventive and corrective maintenance activities on the filed for Telecom and OSP parts of the network.
• Evaluations and distributing of the workload of all OSP and Telecom field activities.
• Manage the Outside Plant (OSP) engineering teams/Telecom team/ Contractor and corporate with the NOC manager to fulfill the contractual SLA and KPIs.
• Implement and monitor reporting methods for the resources , supplies and services subcontractors.
• Responsible on all the reports delivered from the field team to the customer.
• Ensure customer approvals on all the planned activities (for Telecom and OSP) and OSP corrective actions.
• Works closely with the Operations team to create and implement safety policies, interpret standards and works with technical Services management team to implement the operations processes
• Escalating to and updating the customer in Case or major /critical faults and during corrective actions.
• Responsible for the outside plant network in each geographic boundary, including metro and long-haul fibers. Performs a wide spectrum of complex assignments requiring alternative analysis, innovation and judgment.
• Ensures all policies and approved methods are followed and used uniformly by all contractors.
• Prepares and reviews all costs and invoicing ,of the subcontractor activities on the ground.
• Promotes and adheres to all safety policies and procedures, ensures staff has necessary licenses , certifications and permission to before site visit /field activity
• Support in the troubleshooting of technical DWDM and Fiber optics faults in the network with his team till problem resolution
• On-call 24x7.

A degree in Engineering.
