United Nations World Food Programme - Regional Bureau in Cairo is looking for Regional Medical Local Consultancy for 6 months (to start ASAP).*
Do you hold a Postgraduation in Medicine with 8+ years of relevant professional experience in one of the following medical specialties: emergency medicine, internal medicine, occupational health and safety, and/or public health?
If your answer is yes, you mainly will:
1- Provide practical medical guidance to employees, in case of contamination/emergency, at the Regional Office in Cairo, as well as the 17 countries the Regional Bureau suports.
2- Liaise directly with key internal stakeholders (WFP Head Quarters / WFP Regional Staff Counsellor / Medical focal points in the region) as well as key external stakeholders (WHO / Ministries of Health), in order to gather important information timely to keep WFP management and employees updated.
3- Provide daily precaution advice to employees, in collaboration with the Regional Staff Counsellor.
