- Mechanical BIM Engineer
•• Job Duties ••
• Create MEP Revit models, and extract shop-drawings
• Prepare content for BIM Coordination Meetings
• Follow BIM content standards and development procedures
• Review project drawings and specifications
• Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines design-changes and model challenges
• Print drawing sets for construction team and participate in discipline reviews
• May take the lead on developing some discipline specific BIM modeling content for project
• Demonstrate proficiency in construction trade knowledge (MEPF & Coordination)
• Provide/assist in BIM training
• Support & assist in BIM team tasks where required
•• Requirements ••
• BS/MA in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven working experience in BIM projects and Shop-drawing production
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of construction documents.
• Understanding of construction processes - RFIs, submittals and shop drawings.
• Proficient in BIM tools such as; Revit & Navisworks
