Skills and Qualifications:
- CCNA routing and switching as minimum knowledge level.
- Any other certificate in networking is a plus.
- Systems: Windows, Cisco Systems, Linux, HPE Aruba networks, Fortinet, Riverbed.
- Networking: Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, MPLS, VPN, SDSL, ADSL.
- Collaboration Systems, Microsoft Lync, Skype for business.
- Experience: 0 – 1 years
- SaaS, Office 365.
- Formal education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, computer science or information technology.
Job Summary:
- Design and deploy end-to-end enterprise networks.
- Test and validate system functionality.
- Work on developing network optimization and configuration reviews.
- Ability to engage in creating new network design, ability to assess the network requirements and suggest recommendations based on the requirements to the management.
- Ability to engage in creating backup strategies for the data and recovery plan for the network.
- Designs, builds, configures, installs, monitors, and supports all VOIP and collaboration systems.
- Configures, monitor, and supports the Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business Collaboration Environment.
- Prepare, perform and review changes on network devices.
- Network incident management, escalation and response.
- Ability to understand IP Network Convergence and architect/articulate secure networks to facilitate successful transport of multiple types of applications.
