We are seeking the following positions to work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers.
• Position (1): Static equipment design engineer
Role: Apply design, calculations, engineering knowledge and expertise to stationary equipment (tank, heat exchanger, pressure vessel, process fired heater, separators, filters, etc...).
• Position (2): Rotating equipment design engineer
Role: Design of rotating equipment, pumps, packages, compressors, prepare technical specifications, material requisitions and documents for purchase order, prepare technical bid tabulations and offers analysis, checking and review of vendor’s drawings and documents.
Key Accountabilities:
• Design, engineering, calculations, create specifications.
• Review engineering deliverables produced by other engineers, engineering firms, and vendors.
• Participate in reviews and audits of critical designs and equipment to ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, criteria, design philosophy, specifications and deliverables.
• Generate and supervise preparation of data sheets and equipment specifications, technical evaluation and selection
• Preparation of process flow diagrams & piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Site support during construction and commissioning
• Co-ordination with all other disciplines
Experience and Education:
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience preferably in power plant projects.
• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering \ chemical engineering.
• Fluent in English.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Knowledge of static equipment design, review offers and testing.
• Familiar with API, ASME, ISO, NACE, CSA, and other relevant codes and standards.
• Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and relevant software.
• Effective communicator, capable of understanding, anticipating and responding to the needs of the engineering and operations groups and building effective relationships with these groups.
• Continually seek greater knowledge about the systems and processes.
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, pursuing operational excellence through a disciplined process to improve effectiveness, efficiency and sustainment of processes and services
