Duties and Responsibilities:
- Making sure that the supply and provision back-up needs are converted and configured into procurement and purchasing events by the compiled logistics undertakings and work operations with respect to their components.
- Coordinating day-to-day logistics operations.
- Preparing initial documentation regarding planning stages.
- Review contract plans and process reports based on findings.
- Present inventory distribution of warehouse according to standardized process.
- Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks.
- Conduct analysis to determine optimal solutions reducing overall freight expense.
- Partner with providers to ensure efficient and effective execution of defined processes.
- Re-route freight as needed to meet demands and minimize costs. Manage positive day to day relationships with carriers.
- Proactively communicate shipment information regarding route changes, delays, or early deliveries to appropriate internal and external customers.
- Provide reports to internal and external customers as required.
- Perform other duties as directed or assigned.
