Senior Platform Engineer at Talenta Group

For a Canadian company - Senior Platform Engineer is required to head developers team in Egypt and will report directly to senior management.

Senior Platform Engineer:
- Strong technical skills using JVM-based language (Java 8+ or Scala).
- Familiar with CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins (pipeline as code).
- Understand how to implement and deploy microservices in production.
- Practical experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Experience with docker and its orchestrations tools (swarm, ECS or kubernetes).
- Adequate knowledge of core security concepts and best practices for applications, network and infrastructure security.
- Highly motivated with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:
- Basic understanding of big data pipelines and stream processing using Spark/Flink, Kafka, NiFi, etc
- Interest in building scalable systems that have machine learning and blockchain components.
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to deliver high quality products fast.
